How this test works
- Press Start.
- Wait without clicking until the test area changes color.
- Click or tap the test area as fast as possible.
- Repeat several times to compare best and average results.
If the test does not behave as expected
- If you click before the color changes, the attempt is marked as too early and is not added to the average.
- A 60 Hz and a 120 Hz display can produce slightly different timing opportunities.
- Wireless input devices may add variable latency compared with wired devices.
- Compare repeated attempts on the same device rather than treating one result as an absolute benchmark.
Note: This is a browser-observed reaction measurement, not a laboratory-grade human reaction test. Display refresh, browser scheduling, input hardware, OS and device latency affect the result.
