Speaker & Headphone Test

What this test checks

• Left, center and right channel playback
• Low, mid and high test tones
• A simple low-to-high frequency sweep
• Whether you personally confirm hearing the browser output

How this test works

1. Set a safe system volume before starting.
2. Play Left, Center and Right and confirm the sound position.
3. Use the frequency buttons or sweep at a comfortable volume.
4. If no sound is heard, check mute, output device, cable/Bluetooth and OS settings.

If the test does not behave as expected

• If you hear nothing, check system and browser mute state, volume, the selected output device, and any cable or Bluetooth connection.
• If left and right sound reversed, check the physical orientation, cabling, or channel configuration before blaming the browser.
• Very low or very high tones may be difficult to hear because of the speaker, headphone, volume, or your own hearing range.
• The browser can generate a test sound but cannot independently prove that you physically heard it, so the final output confirmation is intentionally manual.

Note: This test does not automatically prove that a speaker is healthy. It generates audio; you confirm what you actually hear.
